ACOS brings leading ophthalmologists and innovators of technologies together to advance vision care and improve patients’ quality of life.

About ACOS

ACOS is a non-profit 501 (c)(6) ophthalmic society that was established in early 2011. The society represents and educates surgeons, innovators, and industry leaders who have made a significant contribution to the field of ophthalmology. In its first year, ACOS initiated and is the sponsor of two FDA investigational studies focused on corneal cross-linking. ACOS is also developing a position statement on laser refractive cataract surgery. We have two US-based meetings and are happy to announce the addition of a European meeting in Cannes, France this summer.

ACOS is a truly progressive organization that fosters communication and cooperation between leading anterior segment surgeons, ophthalmic industry executives, select venture capitalists, and inventors of technology. ACOS provides a platform for education and advocacy representing the mutual interests of these groups.
